And Then Something Happens
Something always happens, eventually, no matter where you are, who you are, or what you are going through.
Know for sure that something will happen to move, shift, or change where you are, who you are, and what you are going through.
A phone call, an encounter or conversation with someone, a song that speaks right to your heart or the question in it and BOOM
something happens. An idea, an inspiration, a conviction, a light…and then SOMETHING is different. You see differently, you hear differently,
and YOU are different.
I experienced this recently and felt compelled to share it with you in case you needed some encouragement for what you’re in or experiencing.
Recently I woke up praying, troubled, questioning some difficulties in my life. I asked God for answers, as I prayed and read a devotional He began showing me
about resting in His presence and not striving in my own will but trusting Him completely and fearlessly. As I sat taking that in, and in true Strong Girl nature began to argue,
My phone chimed “ding,” an email from a friend saying “just thought you might enjoy this.” Wouldn’t you know it was an email about resting in God’s presence
as He does a work in you. He knows us so well doesn’t He, I am so thick-skulled He knew I needed the message again.
I burst into tears in gratitude at how He answers, guides, and is so faithful that in an instant something can happen, HE will happen, and WE are different.
Love & Blessings for all that is happening, or isn’t, in your day today.

Beautiful word of encouragement! Yes, I need to also rest in God’s Presence… I don’t do this often enough!

Don’t we all think that the faster we dance the quicker we fix our life? Resting in the presence of divinity is the real fix. Thank you for this reminder.

So true Jane, in world designed to go faster and faster, a few moments of rest to listen and receive is so precious.
