Old Stuff In Your New Stuff

When God calls you to something new or is growing you in a new area. Our old emotions and thoughts can show up to get in the way, and we can get discouraged believing we aren’t free of the ‘old stuff.’

As I listened to a short word from Joyce Meyer today, I’m reminded that being free of it means that we now know HOW to choose what God says about it, instead of choosing the old emotions, and that sets us free.

We have been blessed with the Word of Almighty God and it is sharper than any two-two edge sword. It can quickly quiet or cut off any negativity the enemy might attempt to use, to get us stuck and settling for less than God’s Word and best in our lives.

Joyce says, “You are free if you know what to do and you have the courage to do it.”  

I’m praying today, for courage and trust in God, to always choose His Word, His will, and His way. No matter what emotions or thoughts show up to challenge me and I’m praying that for you too.  There is no challenge, illness, spirit, emotion, or enemy that is bigger, greater, or more powerful than our God, not one.

Our world truly needs ‘love strong leaders’ who know how to choose, believe and follow God’s Word. Choose Him today! Forget the old, believe God, be strong and courageous, He will take care of you and the circumstances. He promises.
