Game On!

Probably like you, I get the news in my Facebook feed, and I see and hear it on t.v.  I like to stay informed about what is happening in our world.

The one thing I continuously take away is this; Girls It’s Game On!

Darkness wants us to quit, “us” being Christian women (or men).  So we are being offered an opportunity to shine brighter.  

We have a chance to show the world what Jesus alive and loving with truth, wisdom, and audacity looks like.

I like a good challenge, especially when I know the odds are not only in my favor, but the victory is a definite.

When it was darkest is when Jesus the Light of the world Himself came to earth.  He showed us how it is done.  

He showed us how to raise the bar and a few eyebrows about what it is to follow the Father and be about His business.

I believe now is the time for us to do the same, He left us as light to rule and show the way.

We must stare fear and status quo in the face and deny it’s relevance to stop us from being the hope, the salt, and the light in the world…just as Jesus did.

Every one of your lives is a story of grace and love unfolding, I say let’s unfold brightly and brilliantly, and lead with it.

Our world needs more light, we are His, chosen, adopted, adored, loved, redeemed, saved, light.  All fear, unworthiness, self-righteousness, condemnation, insecurity, rule-following, people-pleasing, limiting, evil be damned.  We are called to rise and radiate, like girls on fire for a world HE came to save, and touch hearts, that they might come to shine in Him as well.  That collectively we might become a flood light of grace, glory, and love on this earth!!

So there darkness, you will not deter the daughters of Zion, we fight with sword of the spirit, the helmet of salvation, the breast-plate of righteousness and no fear or agent of hell can stop us.  We fall down, get knocked around, but we love, we get back up, we light, we sacrifice for His glory and we are victorious!

We will light up and lead in our God-authored stories, and with every page we turn we become stronger girls in His name, and we make a difference.
