Information or Cultivation

By Posted in - Strong Girl News on September 20th, 2012 4 Comments

Success requires cultivation of the genius and soul inside you.  Not the constant chasing and ingesting of more information.

Walk  into any bookstore in the country and you will find entire sections dedicated to self-help or development.

With all that INFORMATION doesn’t it seem reasonable that if all that INFORMATION is available, that we should all be walking around more healthy, wealthy, happy, and successful?  Only we’re not. We’re busy, and it sets us up to chase more information.

Information will help you only to the degree that it takes root in your soul, and then is lovingly and intentionally cultivated into art.

I am not suggesting information is bad, only that it should be taken in from an intentional choice, swished around in your mouth like a good wine tasting, and swallowed only when you believe it will further your soul, rather than desperate chasing.  Cheers to cultivating you and your success!

Love this analogy – like drinking wine. An intentional choice YES! I am tired of chasing the gurus and only want to drink in what really feeds me. Keep these great posts coming!
